Lamborghini 63 Yacht: The $3.5 Million Fusion of Luxury and High-Speed Performance

What Happens When Lamborghini Leaves the Road for the Open Sea? We’re no strangers to crossovers in the tech world—smartphone manufacturers dabble in smartwatches, cars are now rolling computers, and even fashion houses try their hand at designing gadgets. But the blend of industries doesn’t stop at technology. What happens when Lamborghini, a name synonymous with high-performance road cars, decides to conquer the waves? Enter the Lamborghini 63 Yacht, an ultra-luxurious, supercar-inspired vessel created in collaboration with Tecnomar.

Meet the Lamborghini 63 Yach: Designed for High Performance

This limited-edition yacht is more than just a boat—it’s a floating Lamborghini. At 63 feet in length, it’s a nod to Lamborghini’s founding year, 1963. Only 63 units will be made, ensuring exclusivity that matches the $3.5 million (approximately R64 million) starting price. It’s powered by twin MAN V12 engines that deliver a combined 4,000 horsepower, pushing the yacht to an exhilarating top speed of 63 knots (116km/h), one of the fastest in its class.

While maneuvering at slow speeds requires skill due to the powerful surface drives, it is equipped with a joystick to control both props and thrusters, making crewing relatively easy. The boat is designed for high performance, capable of reaching speeds over 60 knots, with trim tabs that optimise the performance at 40 knots( km/h) for an efficient 350nm range from its 3,500-litre fuel tank. The hydraulic steering provides precise control as speed increases, and its powerful acceleration creates a thrilling, jet-like experience. The Lamborghini 63 combines cutting-edge technology with a hands-on, analogue feel, ensuring a unique and agile ride.

Design: A Supercar for the Seas

Lamborghini may not be an expert in boatbuilding, but it wisely partnered with The Italian Sea Group to handle that side of the equation. As the parent company of brands like Tecnomar and Admiral—renowned for crafting luxury superyachts, including the impressive motor yacht KENSHO—The Italian Sea Group brought its extensive expertise to the table. Drawing inspiration from Lamborghini’s iconic models, such as the Sián FKP 37 and Terzo Millennio.

The, Tthe The yacht’s deck mirrors the Aventador’s sharp, angular lines. At the helm, three carbon-fibre bucket seats face a futuristic steering wheel equipped with a dash straight out of a supercar. Huracán-style air vents and jet-inspired start/stop buttons add a dramatic flair. With driving modes like Corsa for adrenaline-pumping speed and Cruise for smooth sailing, the yacht promises both performance and comfort.

Inside, the Lamborghini DNA is just as evident. A skylight shaped like the iconic Lamborghini logo illuminates a lounge, a compact kitchen, and a bedroom fitted with ambient lighting. Even the bathroom is a masterpiece, with carbon-fibre finishes. Every detail, down to the weight-saving carbon-fibre construction, speaks to Lamborghini’s obsession with speed and luxury.

The number 63 is a recurring motif throughout the yacht, holding significant meaning for this collaboration. Lamborghini’s founding year was 1963, as was the birth year of Giovanni Constantino, founderof The Italian ea Group. Adding to the symbolism, the yacht measures 63 feet (20 meters) in length and reaches an impressive top speed of 63 knots.

Through Tecnomar’s "Ad Personam Program," owners can fully customise their Lamborghini 63 to match Lamborghini’s exacting standards. From exterior colours in iconic Lamborghini paint codes to a wide range of interior layouts and material combinations, the customisation options allow for a truly personalised luxury experience.

The Lamborghini 63 yacht offers three distinct layout options, each catering to a unique style of luxury living:

  • Lounge Version: Focused on open space and functionality, this layout features a fully equipped galley, a day head for guests, ample storage, and a spacious lounge area with sofas and a wardrobe. For added privacy, the owner enjoys a dedicated private bathroom.

  • One-Cabin Version: Retaining the sleek design of the lounge layout, this version separates the galley from the bow area, transforming the bow sofa into a king-size bed. The forward cabin offers expansive spaces and a private bathroom, delivering a refined and intimate experience.

  • Two-Cabin Version: Designed for maximum comfort, this layout includes a master cabin at the bow, complete with a king-size bed and the ambiance of a luxury hotel suite. A guest cabin accommodates additional passengers, offering flexible sleeping arrangements with two single beds that can combine into a double.

Interior Accommodation

The lower deck of the Lamborghini 63 surprises with a galley that is both spacious and practical, showcasing clever design solutions. While the area lacks natural light compared to the cabins, its thoughtful layout compensates with excellent storage, a refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, and a generously sized sink. Detailing like stitched handholds on the staircase adds sophistication, while magnetic storage for glassware and crockery ensures everything stays secure even at speeds of 60 knots. The dark, moody décor aligns with the yacht’s bold aesthetic, though the ambiance becomes brighter in the cabins.

The owner’s cabin is a standout feature, bathed in natural light from large hull windows and a distinctive shield-shaped skylight that can be shaded as needed. With ample walking space, a well-appointed central bed, and soft carpeting underfoot, it’s as comfortable as it is stylish. Flat-screen TVs and clever storage solutions, including a hanging wardrobe, enhance functionality. The guest cabin extends the Lamborghini branding with signature design cues, including window shapes and storage details, alongside two single beds with generous headroom. A shared bathroom connects the cabins, boasting a carbon-fiber toilet, a spacious shower, and intricate Lamborghini motifs like the iconic “63” towel pegs.

Crew accommodations, accessed via a deck hatch behind the helm, reflect the yacht’s day-boat focus. The compact space features two bunks, convenient storage, and a separate wet room—functional enough for occasional overnight use during charters. Despite its modest size, the crew area integrates practicality without compromising on the yacht's luxurious appeal.

On Deck: A Fusion of Style and Functionality

The aft deck of the Lamborghini 63 is a masterclass in combining style and functionality. It features a sleek carbon-fiber ladder that elegantly lowers into the sea for easy access and doubles as a passerelle when docked, folding neatly into the deck to maintain its clean design. A carbon-fiber shower adds convenience for post-swim rinses, while the expansive sun pad provides ample lounging space and conceals the yacht’s powerhouse—a pair of 2,000-horsepower MAN V12 engines. Carbon-fiber lockers, boarding gates, and two ready-to-launch SeaBobs enhance both practicality and the vessel’s sleek aesthetic. The aft dinette, framed by a Y-shaped hardtop with glass inserts, offers a versatile dining area with an adjustable table and seating. Signature Lamborghini details, like carbon-fiber vents, leather handholds, and road car-inspired handles, elevate the experience, blending luxury with innovation.

Moving toward the foredeck, the yacht continues to impress with its thoughtful design. Deep side decks provide secure passage, while the foredeck is a haven for sunbathing, featuring expansive lounging areas and a hidden anchor locker. Though free of railings, the deck feels safe and maintains a sharp, modern profile. This seamless integration of luxurious features with functional elements underscores the collaborative brilliance between Lamborghini and Tecnomar, making the Lamborghini 63 a true masterpiece of design and engineering.

Helm Station: Supercar Inspired

Commanding the Lamborghini 63 from the helm is nothing short of exhilarating. The influence of the iconic supercar is unmistakable, starting with the steering wheel, directly inspired by the Huracán, and the massive digital display featuring graphics identical to those in Lamborghini road cars. High-backed, sculpted carbon fiber chairs—embossed with the brand’s signature raging bull—offer a blend of comfort and support, perfectly aligning with the yacht’s luxurious ethos. The driving position is carefully engineered, with adjustable seating that lets you slide closer to the Alcantara-wrapped wheel and throttle controls, ensuring a commanding view of the sleek foredeck.

The streamlined dashboard is minimalist, save for the striking “rocket launcher” switches that ignite the twin 2,000hp engines. Drive mode controls, borrowed from Lamborghini’s road cars, let you toggle between docking, cruising, and full-throttle “Corsa” mode, unleashing all 4,000hp. While the Simrad MFD’s low placement poses a slight inconvenience, the sheer thrill of pushing this boat to its limits overshadows minor flaws. Whether cruising or racing, the experience is an event in itself, embodying Lamborghini’s flair for adrenaline-inducing design.

Engine Room: Impressively Roomy

Accessed via a cockpit locker push button, the engine room of the Lamborghini 63 is a marvel of space and engineering. Housing two monstrous MAN V12 engines, each delivering 2,000hp and a jaw-dropping 6,500Nm of torque, this setup dwarfs even the mightiest of Lamborghini car engines. Unlike automotive engines, these powerhouses must propel the vessel through water—a feat requiring far greater output and endurance.

Despite the yacht's expansive interior, the engine room is impressively roomy, leaving space for additional equipment like a generator or an optional Seakeeper stabiliser. The thoughtful layout maximises efficiency, ensuring easy access for maintenance without sacrificing performance. This meticulous design underscores the yacht’s dual identity: part high-speed marvel, part engineering masterpiece.

The Ultimate Statement on Water

The Lamborghini 63 Yacht is more than just a vehicle for the sea—it’s a statement of power, design, and exclusivity. It takes Lamborghini’s reputation for boundary-pushing innovation off the road and onto the waves, cementing its place as a status symbol. Whether you’re chasing high-speed thrills or looking to make an unforgettable impression, this yacht ensures that you’ll never go unnoticed on the water.
