Our Favourite Looks from Emily in Paris Season 4 Part 2

Emily in Paris is back and this time with more unexpected plot twists. In the first half of Season 4 (and every season before that), the story plays off in Paris with the occasional scene or two in Saint-Tropez. Part 2 of Season 4 kicks off in the French Alps and then Emily and her colleagues take a spontaneous trip to Rome. From some of Emily's brave and sometimes outrageous fashion choices to Mindy’s sexy silhouettes, the second part of this season serves up a feast of style inspiration. Whether you're drawn to classic French elegance or playful statement pieces, these looks will make you want to revamp your wardrobe immediately. Let's dive into 8 of our favourite fashion moments from Emily in Paris Season 4, Part 2!

1. Red Roses

The first look is technically not ‘in’ Emily in Paris, but it’s so striking that we had to add it. This is the promotional poster for Emily in Paris Season 4 Part 2 on Netflix. In this glamorous couture dress and pants, Emily is walking down stairs in Rome’s Spanish Steps as if she’s the Red Queen from Alice in Wonderland. Her dress is shaped in spirals to signify a rose and she is surrounded by red roses. The look is very romantic and intriguing. We can’t help but notice how Lilly Collins resembles Audrey Hepburn, and the stylist for the show definitely played into that. This dress and the setting reminds us of Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face.

2. Charade in Megève

In this episode, Emily is on holiday in Megève in the French Alps with Gabriele and Camille’s family. To those who thought that Emily and Camille’s skiing outfits were too over the top - they clearly didn’t get the reference. The costume designer for the show, Marylin Fitoussi, wanted to recreate Audrey Hepburn’s look from the iconic movie “Charade”. She even stated that she was able to get the exact pair of Pierre Marly glasses that Audrey Hepburn wore in the movie. Fitoussi added “Every season we have a tribute to Audrey Hepburn, it’s part of the game now”. Audrey Hepburn was also a quirky American girl who spent a lot of time in Paris, so of course she is the perfect muse for Emily.

3. Cutouts and 50’s

This gorgeous orange/red dress has to be my personal favourite outfit that I’ve seen on Mindy. This is a couture dress from the Gaurav Gupta Spring 2024 collection. Kim Kardashian also wore this dress to the famous Ambani wedding recently. Mindy’s outfit is very glam here compared to Emily’s. Yet again, we see a reference to Audrey Hepburn with Emily’s 1950’s style button up shirt, neck scarf and midi skirt. Emily’s sudden adventure to Rome is the perfect opportunity to draw inspiration from “A Roman Holiday”.

4. French Corporate

We’re seeing a red trend happening in Part 2 of Season 4. Both of these looks are exuding French fashion in different ways. In this scene, Emily is wearing a gorgeous bright red leather jacket, paired with a black and white chequered shirt and black and white tie. Emily loves mis-matching and this particular pattern mixing combination works beautifully well together. Next to Emily, is her new co-worker (and nemesis) Genevieve, now she might get on the viewer’s nerves, but we can’t deny her impeccable taste - or Sylvie’s taste, since she went shopping with her. Genevieve is wearing a black knitted set with white lace ribbons on the buttons of her top. Her makeup also adds to the French feel and her straight fringe completes the look perfectly. She is definitely going to become a big style inspiration in season 5 as Netflix announced that "Emily in Paris" has officially been renewed for Season 5.

5. Saint Laurent Classic

Sylvie is such a fashion icon. We don’t talk about her outfits that much, because Emily’s wild design choices often overshadow the more minimalistic outfits. But we should look to Sylvie’s wardrobe for inspiration more often. In this particular scene, Sylvie unexpectedly shows up in Rome on Emily’s romantic vacation. She is wearing a fully Saint Laurent outfit with a Saint Laurent staple - a jumpsuit. Her beige jumpsuit is from the Ready To Wear Spring 2024 collection, along with a Saint Laurent Manhattan bag and Saint Laurent Havana Brown Oversized Cat Eye Sunglasses.

6. Italian Prints

Later in the season we witness the character's style turn from French to Italian when the characters go to Rome and embrace the culture. Here, Sylvie is having a meeting with an old friend and she is always dressed to impress. She is wearing a Pucci green and khaki geometric print silk dress with a small brown bag under her shoulder and Francesco Russo tan suede heels. Sylvie uses new looks to show off her sexier and more adventurous spirit this season. She is showing more skin, in a tasteful way. And wearing fabrics that are draping on her body to show off her figure.

7. Simple yet Decorative

It wouldn’t be a fashion review without looking at Camille for inspiration. We’ve seen her wear a variation of white button-ups throughout the show and they all look luxurious and elegant. For this look, Camille is wearing an oversized white button up shirt with a 3D flower accent from Christian Cowan’s Spring 2024 Ready To Wear collection. She is layering it with a black and cream blazer that is more masculine. This adds a beautiful contrast between the feminine shirt details and the more structured jacket.

8. Grey Combo

In this scene Genevieve is at Agence Grateau. She is wearing a stunning and modest ashy beige two piece set from Zara. The structured pocketed jacket and pleated mini skirt is such an adorable combination and reminds us of MiuMiu designs. Unfortunately Zara isn’t manufacturing this exact design anymore, but they have so many new sets to choose from!
