Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer Ready-to-Wear 2025 Collection


Designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez set the tone for New York Fashion Week with their Spring/Summer collection. The New York brand stayed true to its roots by hosting the show in a spacious New Yorker Tribeca loft. The venue was beautifully sunlit with elegant neutral decor, referencing the change of season.


Proenza Schouler designs for the elegant, intelligent, urban woman of today. It was no different for this collection. We can see Beautifully tailored silhouettes, asymmetrical designs, stripes, and comfortable corporate style designs for Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer 2025.



Stripes are definitely in this season and it's no surprise that this trend is set to carry through into 2025. Proenza Schouler kept this trend simple, by using thin stripes on corporate dress styles. This collection features oversized shirt dresses, a modern twist on the classic office button-up, along with black and white striped tops and scarves. One standout piece—? A striking knitted tan dress with bold blue stripes and fringed accents. . Proenza Schouler also had a button–up coat in black with vertical tan stripes — a colour combination that they reappeared throughout the collection.



Proenza Schouler embraced fringe detailing in a big way for this collection.. Fringe tassels were seen on the bottom of knitted dresses and even covering sandals, the collection was a masterclass in texture. There were dresses with leather fringes in different sizes and studded accents; a beautifully constructed combination. Full fringe dresses in soft white and lilac, added volume and fluidity with every step . A standout look featured an oversized white button-up shirt styled with a chic off-white asymmetrical fringe skirt. This fringe skirt can be a fabulous addition to your closet as it can easily add more character to other basic pieces.



We saw a wide selection of beautifully tailored, wide-legged work trousers in this fashion show. Proenza Schouler opted for a low-waisted fit which is very different from the high waisted styles we’ve been seeing from other collections . The brand embraced oversized silhouettes, playing with proportions in a way that felt both modern and effortless. . What really stood out, though, was the addition of an extra buttoned layer over the crotch — a subtle yet innovative detail that adds a creative touch and makes classic corporate trousers more interesting and fashionable. One standout piece from the collection was.



We saw many oversized shapes, triangular silhouettes, off the shoulder dresses and more. Over and over on the runway, we saw designs in tops and skirts that were short on one side and super long on the other. The designers definitely played with proportions and illusions. The fabric, prints and silhouettes make it difficult for the viewer to decide on what to focus on. They also used different coloured fabrics to create dimension and asymmetry in their collection. For some dresses there was a mix of floral patterns with plain black and white material to create contrast. For another look, we saw a minimalistic white monochrome set with a triangular shape over the right torso. This is a creative way to keep a minimalistic piece simple, yet interesting and new.



Beautiful colours such as cobalt blue, bright red, lilac and navy broke the fashion show’s neutral palette. Cobalt blue has been an emerging trend and now Proenza Schouer solidified it in typical New York fashion. One standout piece from the collection was a beautiful bright blue trench coat, destined to become a must-have. It's the kind of statement outerwear I’m sure fashion lovers would like to get their hands on soon.


The collection also featured a chic blue dress with a a smart casual twist — its sleeves elegantly tied at the hips, offering a refreshing contrast to the dress’s sophisticated base and lending a relaxed overall look.Proenza Schouler didn't shy away from bold hues either, he used red as a pop of colour on the runway. One standout piece was a tailored, feminine red dress with a hint of transparency, while another red dress embraced a more masculine edge with a straight silhouette adorned with abstract artwork design.
